Menjadi laboratorium yang unggul dalam menerapkan dan mengembangkan ilmu di bidang energi dan mesin pertanian

Cakupan formal : Prinsip-prinsip teknik dan manajemen Cakupan material : Energi dan mesin untuk produksi & industri masa hayati

2. Cakupan

Penerapan prinsip-prinsip dasar teknik dan manajemen untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan nilai tambah sumberdaya masa hayati melalui teknik konversi dan konservasi energi serta penguatan pengembangan dan penerapan mesin pertanian sepadan untuk pembangunan kemanusiaan berkelanjutan, berwawasan kelestarian sumberdaya alam dan lingkungan.

3. Kompetensi Lulusan

Mampu menggunakan prinsip-prinsip teknik dan manajemen dalam pengelolaan energi, perancangan, pembuatan dan penerapan mesin pertanian dalam suatu sistem produksi & industri masa hayati.

5. Fasilitas Laboratorium

  1. Sarana pengujian karakteristik motor bakar, traktor, dan sistem konversi energi lain (engine performance tester, dynamometer, load cell, dll)
  2. Sarana pengujian alat & mesin pertanian (soil bin apparatus test, sistem akuisisi data, data logger, amplifier, x-y recorder, dll)
  3. Unit perancangan alat & mesin pertanian (computer for design, cad cam, simulation software, dll)
  4. Unit konstruksi alat & mesin pertanian (work shop, peralatan perbengkelan, mesin perkakas, roll plat, dll)
  5. Unit sistem kontrol dan otomatisasi (micro controller, sensor, vision system control, dll)
  6. Unit sistem informasi dan manajemen (unit komputer dan supporting software, intra dan inter-net, dll).
