1. General Requirements for Master’s Program Admission
The general requirements for admission to the Master’s program at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology are as follows:
- Recent Passport-Sized Photograph
- Colored photo, formally dressed, facing the camera, with a blue background.
- Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
- Original or legalized photocopy of the bachelor’s degree certificate.
- A Certificate of Graduation (SKL) is not valid.
- Applicants with foreign degrees must have an equivalence certificate from DIKTI.
- Academic Transcript
- Original or legalized photocopy, with a minimum GPA as follows:
- ≥ 2.50 (scale of 4) for graduates from accredited Program A.
- ≥ 2.75 (scale of 4) for graduates from accredited Program B.
- ≥ 3.00 (scale of 4) for graduates from accredited Program C.
- Original or legalized photocopy, with a minimum GPA as follows:
- Study Program Accreditation Certificate
- Must be the current accreditation, proven by:
- A scanned accreditation certificate or
- A screenshot from the BAN-PT website.
- If accreditation is being renewed, proof of submission to DIKTI must be provided.
- Applicants with foreign degrees must submit a Foreign Degree Equivalency Letter from DIKTI.
- Invalid accreditation documents will not be processed.
- Must be the current accreditation, proven by:
- Graduate Academic Potential Test Certificate
- Must be valid (issued within the last 2 years).
- Accepted test results:
- PAPs (UGM)
- TPDA (PLTI)
- TPA (BAPPENAS)
- English Proficiency Test Certificate
- Must be valid (issued within the last 2 years).
- Accepted certificates:
- AcEPT (UGM)
- TOEP (PLTI) (recognized by DIKTI)
- IELTS (from IDP-recognized institutions)
- TOEFL iBT (from IIEF-recognized institutions)
- TOEFL ITP (from IIEF-recognized institutions)
- Recommendation Letters
- Two (2) recommendation letters from previous academic lecturers, preferably from the Academic Advisor.
- Health Certificate
- Issued by a doctor at a Community Health Center (Puskesmas) or Hospital.
- Special Requirements
a. Statement of Interest explaining reasons for pursuing the program, expectations, research topic plans, and post-graduation plans.
b. Thesis Research Proposal/Essay Writing/Other Specific Requirements (as requested by the study program). These documents should not be uploaded but must be sent directly to the study program along with proof of registration.
c. Study Permit/Assignment Letter (for applicants currently employed).
d. Study Permit/Assignment Letter for BUDI DN Applicants.
2. Registration Procedure
- Contact the Intended Study Program
- Inquire about specific requirements and additional selection criteria.
- Create a Registration Account
- Register via the official website: um.ugm.ac.id.
- Complete the Online Registration Process
a. Prepare all required documents, as additional documents submitted after registration will not be processed.
b. Scan and upload documents with the following conditions:- File size: 150KB – 800KB per document.
- Must be scanned in color and clearly legible for verification.

6 | Valid English proficiency certificate*. Recognized certificates include: a. Academic English Proficiency Test (AcEPT) from UGM, or; b. Test of English Proficiency (TOEP) from the Indonesian Test Service Center (PLTI) recognized by DIKTI for lecturer certification; c. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) from institutions recognized by IDP, or; d. Internet-Based (iBT) TOEFL from institutions recognized by IIEF, or; e. Institutional Testing Program (ITP) TOEFL from institutions recognized by IIEF. | |
7 | Recommendation from 2 (two) relevant lecturers during the previous academic level, preferably Academic Advisors. | |

Candidate’s statement of interest in pursuing a graduate program containing reasons, expectations, research topic plans, and plans after completing the program. b. Thesis research proposal/essay writing/other specific requirements requested by the study program need not be uploaded but sent directly to the intended study program accompanied by a photocopy of the registration proof. | |
