ISO 2026 Audit at FTP UGM, DTPB Shows Commitment to Maintaining Education Quality

Yogyakarta, January 13, 2026 — The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), conducted the ISO 2026 Audit as part of its institutional quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts. In this activity, the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DTPB) FTP UGM was audited as one of the working units within the FTP UGM environment. The audit took place at the DTPB FTP UGM Meeting Room I.

The ISO 2026 Audit was conducted by PT SGS Indonesia, which assigned Mr. Miko Mei Irwanto, S.T., M.T., as the auditor. The auditor was welcomed by the Head of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering FTP UGM, Dr. Arifin Dwi Saputro, along with the Department Secretary, Chandra Setyawan, Ph.D., and the academic team consisting of Hilda Maya Sintia Dewi, M.Sc., and Ardan Wiratmoko, M.Sc., accompanied by administrative staff member Imawati Listiya Habsari, S.T.P.

In this audit process, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology FTP UGM served as the main audit subject. The Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering was evaluated in terms of its implementation of the quality management system. The ISO audit itself is a systematic and independent evaluation process aimed at ensuring that all activities, work procedures, and outcomes comply with established standards and planned objectives.

Through this audit, constructive feedback and recommendations are expected to strengthen the implementation of quality standards within FTP UGM, particularly in academic and teaching activities at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. This evaluation forms an essential part of continuous improvement efforts to ensure that all learning processes are conducted effectively and in accordance with applicable quality standards.

The implementation of the ISO 2026 Audit is also aligned with the commitment of FTP UGM and DTPB FTP UGM to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education, through the delivery of high-quality, accountable, and sustainable higher education.

The Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering FTP UGM reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving the quality of teaching and academic services for students. This commitment is realized through strengthening quality assurance systems, ongoing evaluations, and active involvement of the entire academic community in creating an excellent and competitive learning environment.
