Semarang, August 6, 2026 – Academics continue to contribute to fostering innovation and scientific thinking among university students through various academic competitions and forums. One such event was the 2026 Student Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) organized by the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University (FPP UNDIP), which invited Ardan Wiratmoko, S.T.P., M.Sc., a lecturer at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DTPB), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FTP UGM), to serve as one of the judges.
Organized by the Student Association of the Department of Agriculture, FPP UNDIP, the competition was held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, Semarang. Carrying the theme “Sustainable Agricultural Technology Innovations to Support National Food Security,” the event was attended by students from various universities across Indonesia.
Ardan Wiratmoko Participates in Evaluating Student Scientific Works
As an academic in the field of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Ardan Wiratmoko, S.T.P., M.Sc., was entrusted to join the judging panel responsible for evaluating scientific works presented by the participants.
Ardan’s involvement as a judge represents one of DTPB FTP UGM’s contributions to supporting the development of students’ academic competencies while providing an academic perspective on agricultural technology.
Through the forum, participants had the opportunity to present their ideas and thoughts concerning sustainable agricultural technology innovations. The various ideas developed by the students reflected efforts to promote critical thinking and innovative solutions to challenges in agricultural development and national food security.
