
Yogyakarta, August 3, 2025 — Sri Markumningsih, S.T.P., M.Sc., Ph.D., a lecturer at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DTPB), Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP), Universitas Gadjah Mada, participated in the Competency Assessor Training and Certification organized by the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) P1 Universitas Gadjah Mada.
Dr. Sri joined the first batch of the training, held from July 30 to August 3, 2025, in collaboration with the National Agency for Professional Certification (BNSP).
This training was driven by the growing need for competent and professional assessors across various fields, including Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. A competency assessor is an individual qualified and authorized to conduct competency assessments for test participants, ensuring they meet the standards set by the LSP and are eligible for official certification. The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and certification as competency assessors in accordance with BNSP standards. With these competencies, assessors are expected to carry out assessments based on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) within their respective fields.
Dr. Markumningsih’s participation in this program reflects DTPB FTP UGM’s strong commitment to enhancing the capacity of its lecturers, expanding the role of academics in the professional certification arena, and supporting the creation of graduates who are competent, adaptive, and highly competitive at both national and international levels.
