
Sleman, September 1, 2025 – A team of lecturers from the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Udayana, conducted a monitoring and evaluation (monev) session for four Universitas Udayana students currently undertaking the Kampus Merdeka Research Program (PKM) at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DTPB), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FTP UGM). The participating students were I Nyoman Limpo Garjiya, Bagus Prasetyo Wibowo, I Made Mickey Yogi Agna Kusuma, and I Wayan Tubagus Pramauda, who are focusing their research on the design and development of agricultural tools and machinery. The monev session was held at the DTPB meeting room, with FTP UGM serving as the collaborating partner of LPPM Universitas Udayana in this program.
The monitoring and evaluation were carried out by LPPM Universitas Udayana lecturers: Prof. Ir. Ni Made Ary Esta Dewi Wirastuti, ST, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., Dr. Ni Ketut Arismayanti, SST.Par, M.Par., and Putu Yadnya, SE. The session was also attended by the host institution representatives, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Lilik Sutiarso, M.Eng. (Head of Department), Dr. Ir. Andri Prima Nugroho, S.T.P., M.Eng., Ph.D. (Coordinator of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Scientific Group and Head of the Energy and Agricultural Machinery Laboratory), as well as academic supervisors Ardan Wiratmoko, S.T.P., M.Sc., and Dr. Rudiati Evi Masithoh, S.T.P., M.Dev.Tech. Laboratory technicians Marheriyanto (Energy and Agricultural Machinery Laboratory) and Suryatmi (Electronics Laboratory) also accompanied the activity.
The session began with an opening address by Dr. Andri, followed by welcoming remarks from Prof. Lilik Sutiarso. In his remarks, Prof. Lilik highlighted that Universitas Udayana students had demonstrated active, communicative, and cooperative attitudes throughout their research and design projects at DTPB FTP UGM.
During the presentation session, each student shared their research progress and design outcomes, all of which showed positive development in both conceptual and technical aspects of machine construction. In the evaluation session, the students expressed appreciation for the comprehensive laboratory facilities and the intensive academic guidance provided by DTPB lecturers. They also conveyed their enthusiasm and the valuable experience they gained during their research activities at FTP UGM.
The event concluded with a progress review of the prototype development and a visit to several DTPB laboratory facilities. This research collaboration between Universitas Udayana and UGM reflects both institutions’ commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
