Jakarta, 19 December 2025 – The Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DTPB), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FTP UGM), has once again achieved national recognition. Dr. Sri Rahayoe, a lecturer at DTPB FTP UGM, received a Bronze Award at the DIKTISAINTEK Awards 2025 in the category of Research and Development Award – Hiliriset Award, subcategory patent/simple patent that has been implemented and utilized by the community.
The DIKTISAINTEK Awards 2025 are organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology to recognize higher education institutions, Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti), industry partners, institutions, media, journalists, and Diktisaintek stakeholders for their tangible contributions to improving the quality of higher education, research, innovation, and science and technology governance in Indonesia.
In his remarks, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto, expressed his appreciation to all award recipients for their outstanding performance and dedication in supporting ministerial policies, particularly in strengthening a research and innovation ecosystem that delivers real impact to society.
Dr. Sri Rahayoe’s achievement reflects the successful downstreaming of research outcomes that extend beyond academic outputs and are effectively applied to address real-world challenges. This accomplishment also demonstrates DTPB FTP UGM’s strong commitment to promoting applied research that contributes solutions to issues in the agricultural and biosystems sectors.
This national recognition is expected to inspire the academic community of DTPB FTP UGM to continuously produce sustainable, applicable, and impactful research innovations aligned with national science and technology development priorities.
