Dosen Departemen Teknik Pertanian dan Biosistem (DTPB) berpartisipasi dalam Symposium on Green Bio Science and Technology 2023 yang diselenggarakan di Pyeongchang Campus, Seoul National University (SNU), Korea Selatan. Simposium ini merupakan Joint meeting antara Graduate School of International Agricultural Technology (GSIAT) SNU dengan Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian (FTP) UGM. Simposium yang diselenggarakan pada hari Senin 26 Juni 2023 ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari Nota Kesepahaman yang telah ditandatangani pada tanggal 7 Februari 2023.
Pada kesempatan simposium ini, rombongan FTP yang terdiri dari 13 dosen diantaranya dosen DTPB yaitu Prof. Dr. Lilik Sutiarso,. Prof. Dr. Sigit Supadmo Arif, Dr. Murtiningrum, Muhamad Khoiru Zaki, Ph.D, dan Dr. Sri Rahayoe.
Acara dimulai dengan perkenalan dosen GSIAT SNU dan FTP UGM yang mengikuti acara. Selanjutnya presentasi masing-masing pihak tentang perkembangan penelitian teknologi terkini.
Dosen DTPB yang menyampaian presentasinya adalah Dr. Murtiningrum dan Prof. Dr. Sigit Supadmo Arif dengan judul “Research Center for Irrigation and Agricultural Modernization: A Respond to Irrigation Management Challenges“. Selanjutnya Prof. Dr. Lilik Sutiarso menyampaikan presentasi berjudul “Center of Knowledge on Smart Technology towards the Era of Digital Agriculture in Asian Countries“.
Acara berikutnya adalah pembahasan kerjasama selanjutnya yaitu Simposium berikutya yang direncakan pada bulan Januari 2024. Dalam bidang pendidikan dibuka kesempatan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan pasca sarjana bagi alumni FTP UGM di GSIAT SNU. Acara diakhiri dengan peninjauan ke fasilitas laboratorium GSIAT SNU yaitu laboratorium Food Biotechnology dan laboratorium Smart Agriculture.
Faculty members from the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DTPB) are participating in the Symposium on Green Bio Science and Technology 2023, held at the Pyeongchang Campus of Seoul National University (SNU), South Korea. This symposium is a joint meeting between the Graduate School of International Agricultural Technology (GSIAT) at SNU and the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) at UGM. The symposium, which takes place on Monday, June 26, 2023, is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding signed on February 7, 2023.
During this symposium, the FTP delegation, consisting of 13 faculty members, including those from the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, such as Prof. Dr. Lilik Sutiarso, Prof. Dr. Sigit Supadmo Arif, Dr. Murtiningrum, Muhamad Khoiru Zaki, Ph.D., and Dr. Sri Rahayoe, had the opportunity to participate.
The event began with introductions from the faculty members of GSIAT SNU and FTP UGM who were attending the event. Subsequently, each party presented on the latest developments in technology research.
DTPB faculty members who delivered their presentations were Dr. Murtiningrum and Prof. Dr. Sigit Supadmo Arif, with the title “Research Center for Irrigation and Agricultural Modernization: A Response to Irrigation Management Challenges.” Following that, Prof. Dr. Lilik Sutiarso presented a talk titled “Center of Knowledge on Smart Technology towards the Era of Digital Agriculture in Asian Countries.”
The next agenda is the discussion of further collaboration, namely the upcoming symposium planned for January 2024. In the field of education, opportunities will be opened for UGM FTP alumni to pursue postgraduate studies at GSIAT SNU. The event concluded with a tour of the GSIAT SNU laboratory facilities, including the Food Biotechnology laboratory and the Smart Agriculture laboratory.
